Oklahoma Steak and Grill Delivery

By S. Mathur

What if one day you come home too tired to cook so you pick up the phone to order pizza or some other greasy meal from your local takeout? How about a complete dinner instead complete with appetizer, steak & shrimp entree served with a baked potato and a salad? Or Philly cheesesteak with potatoes? Or even chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day?

If you live in Edmond, OK, you can call Oklahoma Steak and Grill Delivery for delicious and hearty meals. Manager Eli Attouleh explains the inspiration behind the service is to bring high-quality meals to peoples' front doors.

"The idea of having either pizza or Chinese food as the only option for food delivery was never satisfying," Attouleh said. "Therefore, we wanted to change that stigma and do something new like delivering steaks and restaurant quality food."

The restaurant does delivery and carry out meals, as well as catering. The menu includes seafood, chicken and steak kabobs, and kid-friendly family meals with chicken strips and gyros. The burgers are a delight, and there's a wide selection of salads and sandwiches. Desserts include fried Oreos, strawberry-topped cheesecake and baklava.

In an interview with a local newspaper, the Oklahoma Gazette, Attouleh opened up about what allows Oklahoma Steak and Grill to deliver food at its highest quality. Steak is put into the broiler, or flame grill, when the delivery driver is ten minutes from pickup, so it's ready to go when it gets to your door. Steaks are left slightly undercooked because they continue cooking after being removed from the broiler. This way, they arrive perfectly cooked. Toast stays crisp because it's wrapped in foil, and fries are packed in containers with holes punched in them to let out steam. Attouleh says that his favorite dish is the ribeye steak, which is also the signature dish of the company.

"One of our favorite menu items is the Trio Potato which includes chunks of our ribeye steak, grilled chicken, and grilled shrimp and of course smothered in cheese, butter, and sour cream. Our customers love it too," Attouleh said.

The portions are generous and it doesn't stop there. Every Christmas, staff from the restaurant prepare the same delicious meals for the homeless.

"We do this program every year around Christmas to give back to those in need," Attouleh said. "We cook the burger meals, package it and hand it out ourselves around Oklahoma City area. We try to feed as many people as possible and with the help of our customers we manage to feed around 400 people every year." Customers who want to help can donate any amount through the restaurant website, and the full amount will be used to help pay for the cost of the meals.
