By Casey Keller

Tell us a little bit about your experience, company history and the services you offer.

Edmond Pressure Washing was started a year and a half ago by Chad Gill and Casey Keller. We specialize in commercial pressure washing for retail and restaurants in the Edmond and Oklahoma City areas. We also have a great deal of experience with residential services and can add value to a homes curb appeal during the selling process or can improve the look of a home after new construction. Existing homes can also benefit from having regular pressure washing keeping their driveway and home looking clean. We do a lot of contract commercial services but also accept any inquiries from interested clients whether residential or commercial.

Can you please explain the process of pressure washing?

The pressure washing process is not overly complicated but there are techniques that can add efficiency and quality to the job. We start with a wide spread nozzle to clear dirt and grime from the area always spraying in a runoff direction. For tire marks or oil spots we use a tighter nozzle and with oil spots, certain chemicals may be added and scrubbed in before spot removal. When using chemicals we always use "green" chemicals to do our part for the environment. In certain situations tarps may be used to cover walls or landscaping. We do what's necessary to not only clean the structures but also protect the surrounding areas. It's our job to leave a great overall look to the finished product of our services.

Is there anything homeowners can do to prepare for this?

Homeowners need to set clear expectations before the job is started. Also when doing patios, garages or other areas where belongings or furniture are kept, homeowners should remove these items before washing. We can cover large objects but the more clear an area is the more thorough a job can be done.

What are a few of the benefits of pressure washing?

Pressure washing offers many benefits to new homeowners, existing homeowners, builders and businesses, New home owners have a clean appearance and we can help maintain that "new" home look and feel. Existing homeowners can benefit from pressure washing the same way they benefit from cleaning inside the home or mowing the lawn, it's nice to have an overall well maintained and cared for appearance and a clean driveway and sidewalk can definitely add to the visual appeal.
